We welcome Coach Tom Crean and his wife Joani back as grand marshals for the 2007 event!
Tom and Joani CreanMarquette University basketball coach Tom Crean and his wife Joani are back once again as grand marshals for the 30th year of the Briggs & Al's Run & Walk for Children's Hospital. We admire and appreciate their continued support for the event, founded by late Marquette University basketball coach Al McGuire. The event has raised more than $8.5 million for Children's Hospital of Wisconsin, with one hundred percent of the proceeds going directly to help the children.

With gratitude, we extend thanks to our generous sponsors, team captains, walkers, runners, volunteers and pledge raisers, who continue to make a tremendous difference in the lives of children year after year.

Pledge to make a difference: Pledge raising is the most important part of Briggs & Al's Run & Walk. To raise the necessary funds to support the many patient care, research, education and advocacy programs of Children's Hospital, we need your help to make every participant a successful pledge raiser.

The past three years pledge raisers have been able to create their own personal pledge-raising Web page. It's an easy and effective way to ask family and friends for their support. In the upcoming weeks you will be able to create your own page or make a pledge on a friend's page and help the many kids at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin.
